I have worked since May 2011 at this position. I mainly in charge of marketing business tasks, with knowledge in IT, and the ability of multi-language for communication. Over these years, even now or before I still keep trying hard work. Actually, I have been trying to do as an interpreter and translator with non-related professional skills as required in job.

Because I know more than three languages and related to my work also. But what I have done in interpretation and translation works were not really like the kind of its profession and done it in a similar way. There were many foreign investors, the Japanese, who come to visit Cambodia for their business investment inspection. I was one of the positions, sometimes do as a guide to lead the investors to get into their ways for advancing their business in Cambodia. So, I attended with them to meet with many local people, businesses, and simply the culture of the country. It was very difficult to do so, but I try to explain more with not just translating or interpreting the words.

There was not really understandable with the bilingual especially without know each culture and context. I have been used all the languages I can at that time, included Khmer, English, Chinese, and Japanese. Sometimes, with a very diverse language, people come together to the table and talk. Then putting myself in there, how could I imagine at the first of I to do that. I was very strained to be with that situation.

Actually, I was out of control of my language by speak Khmer only to other native people and very mess to speak out my language. For example, when there were 3 or 4 languages I have to talk together at the same time, I confused to speak Japanese with Khmer people, Khmer to Chinese, speak Chinese to people who know only English and/or speak English to my Japanese customers even I know I have to translate English into Japanese for them.

At all, there were very excited and surprising moments of my career life I have been previously. However, there was a school that is free of charge for me to learn more and develop myself with those same experiences. I hope I can be more fluent in all of the languages I know and use it in more benefits ways for my career and society.
