Learn to Say ‘No’ in a Polite Way

(Read in < 1 minute)

To whom may concern how to say ‘no’ or refuse to do something. Then we can use or show it in any polite way to avoid your awkward feeling or something else.

People in communication, is not always but usually at some time they still have to say ‘no’, but how to say it and then cannot make others unhappy? In English, it can be so politely to refuse and you can apply in the following ways.

I can’t right now, but maybe later.

It means that it might be able to do it in the future, but now it cannot.

Sorry but that isn’t my strong suit.

To show you are not good at the point others asking for help.

I’m sure you will do fine on your own.

It is a polite way to tell people to do their own tasks by themselves rather than to ask another for help.

I’m afraid I’m committed to something else.

You can say like this if you have another plan to do.

I’m sorry, but I have an emergency to attend to.

In this way, since you have some urgent tasks to do then rarely be able to hand on others’ business.
