Tendency to Stimulate Strongly is an Essential Strategy on Social Media

(Read in 2 minutes)

Tendency to stimulate strongly is an essential strategy for attention people on social media, as a successful practice on Facebook. Previously, we have talked about how Facebook has applied in Cambodia, which may differ from how other countries did. Now I would like to tell you some detail about that.

We live in the social media trend today, and it’s easy to be stimulating and challenging to avoid distractions craved. However, people mostly tend to tend the stimulation strongly since the growth of social media use in daily life.

Other days ago, a painful incident happened in the downtown “Golden Sorya Mall” of Phnom Penh City. A man murdered his girlfriend and then finished himself. This incident occurred around 4:30 pm, and then there was a post on Facebook talking about the incident shortly in 20 minutes. Then I saw the post on Facebook 30 minutes later, around 5:20 pm. It was a very shocking incident, and there was also a bleak picture of the posted incident scene. I think that the information was spreading very quickly. It was appealing to me because one of my friends on Facebook shared about that. Then it stayed in my eyes for an hour after the incident. However, there was real-time information disseminated and collected via Facebook. So, how do you feel about that?

Likewise, “Twitter” is popular in Japan and some countries in Asia, and it also catches real-time information, such as in this case in Cambodia. A user will do that as quickly as possible. Then we can say that Facebook is playing its part in Cambodia.

Among Facebook users in Cambodia, to shocking posts and funny posts, they will press “Like” or probably to be demanding the Share. There are few entertainments if compared to other countries, stimulating and funs, are preferable on the internet from many young people.

Although looking into a bit sad post with an “incredible” image and its comments, it seems likely more funny content, which means it always seeks fun and interests, is not it?

In the WEB world, both photos and videos can use for promotion purposes. In Cambodia, the promotion differs from Japan or other countries in Asia. It is not just about “beautiful” things but also a matter of stimulation and entertainment—that is why to try to be conscious of the user psychology that seeks it.
