The Ant Story – a Strength Comes from An Indomitable Will
Strength does not come from physical capacity, it comes from an indomitable will.
Mahatma Gandhi
One day, it was interesting to see a small ant was trying to climb a wall, once it was down but keep trying, 1, 2, 3, 4, and more times. I feel like almost to see that ant every day (maybe it’s not the same one). It’s The Ant Story – a Strength Comes from An Indomitable Will.
It recalled me of a story of the ant for years ago. There was an area where the home of ants. One day, a very very big rain fell down and caused a flood. As the floodwaters suddenly flooded, an ant called his small group of the tiny ants assembled as a ball floating on the surface of the water. When the ants assembled ball floating to any near ants, they quickly stick together into the ball bigger and bigger and continued floating. Of course, some other groups of the ants were not, and they were just desperate and in pursuit of their own way. Finally, the rain stopped, the ants assembled ball floated to the ground, and then they began to disperse and lived in their community again as they were the survival.
What do you think about this story? It may inspire you in various areas of life. However, the human community is quite similar. We should treat a person or ourselves or a team’s strength may not about physical capacity but the indomitable will, I think.
